Current Executive Board
The current Executive Board term is 2012-2014
Officer Bylaws Article IV: Officers of the Association Section 1 A) All candidates for election to office shall have been nominated at the previous monthly meeting in November. At that time, the Secretary shall cast a ballot, containing the names of all candidates for office, to be sent to all Active members in good standings. These are to be returned to the Secretary at the Assocation meeting in December. B) The officers of the Association shall consist of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sergeant-at-Arms. These shall be elected by the Association every two (2) years. All the Elective officers of this Association shall be elected by sevret ballot at the December meeting, which is held the third Monday of the month. A majority of all ballots cast shall constitute an election.
Section 2 NO elective officer may hold an office for more than three (3) consecutive term unless uncontested.
Section 3 Any vacancies among the elected officers, caused by death or removal for other reasons, can be filled for the unexpired term by ballot at the first regular business Association meeting following such vacancy, or at a special meeting called for that purpose by the Executive Board.
Article v: Duties of Officers Section 1 It shall be the duty of the President to preside at all meetings of the Association to see that Constitution and By-Laws are enforced. Section 2 It shall be the duty of the Vice-President to preside at all meetings and to perform all duties of the President in the President's absence. Section 3 It shall be the duty of the Secretary to keep an accurate record of the minutes of all meetins, take care of all correspondence, and keep a complete record of each member thru their time of membership. the Secretary must give a copy of the previous meetings' minutes to the President prior to the start of the next business Association meeting. Section 4 It shall be the duty of the Treasurer to collect all monies due to the Association and deposit it in the bank. The Treasurer will pay all bills as deemed necessary. The Treasurer shall also keep a record of dues paid by each member. Section 5 It shall be the duty of the Sergeant-at-Arms to see that all persons on the premises are notified at least five (5) minutes before the start of the Association meetings. He/she shall keep order during the start of Association meetins by direction of the President. The Sergeant-at-Arms shall be responsible for all equipment owned by the Association. Section 6 It shall be the duty of the Executive Board, which consists of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer, to perform all the following: 1) Settle all grievances 2) Work for the betterment of the Association 3) Hear all charges against any member 4) Make any recommendations of penalty within 7-14 days from receiving the complaints. 5) Formulate a budget to be presented at the November meeting each year. This budget is to be approved by the body for a period of January 1st thru December 31st. |
